Still alive :-)

Well I survived the surströmming on friday night though I must say that i won't be rushing to try it again. Things started off quite well when the can was opened and the smell was not nearly as bad as i had expected (after stories of people being sick I eas expecting the worst), the flavour and texture left quite a lot to be desired though. Sort of like really slimey worms mixed with a pint of Cale' 80 thats been sittiing in the sun too long.

However the copious amounts of schnapps, beer and then whiskey later on, plus the good company, made the night a success in the end.

We still have a can left so if you want it leave a comment. Though in some countries (ok, any country outside of Sweden) it may have the same status as a biological weapon.
